I felt really at ease and I felt like I could say exactly how I felt without any judgement.  I feel that the counselling that I have received has helped me in so many ways.  I have come away more confident and with “tools” for how to cope when life gets hard.  I feel the service was really professional.

I feel like my depression has lifted. Talking to Fiona was a great help. I now have the skills and know-how to deal with anxiety better. A very kind counsellor who listened to me very attentively and has helped me to feel good about myself and my life again.

I now feel like I’m in control of my own life again. Talking really set me free. I felt listened to, understood and respected by the counsellor. I was able to talk and open up to Fiona without feeling judged or ashamed. I feel like I’m no longer a prisoner of my own emotions. I don’t think I would honestly be in the right head space now if I had not got in touch.

It was great that I could do sessions via telephone in the comfort of my own home.  Fiona was so patient and easy to talk with.  I didn’t feel pushed but just at ease so I could be myself and express what I had to say.

I looked forward to the counselling sessions.  They felt like a safe space in which to share and offload some challenging thoughts.  Knowing that I had someone to speak with, and hearing that my fears weren’t unique to me, was very helpful in getting me back on a solid footing.

I knew things had gone too far when I agreed to try Counselling.  Normally I would have shot the idea down straight away, but I knew I didn’t want to keep feeling like I did.  I can honestly say it was the best decision that I ever made.  The changes I felt in a short period of time were unbelievable.

I would encourage anyone who is maybe too “proud” or too “manly” to speak to Fiona.  If times are hard, I can testify that speaking with Fiona will do wonders for you.

I felt so much guilt and shame for struggling in my caring role and Fiona helped me to release this which was life changing for me.  Fiona provided me with tools that I could use in my own journey after Counselling.

I felt that I was in a safe place with Fiona and was able to tell her things that I never told anyone else before.  Fiona is such a warm and caring person that talking with her felt like a friendly chat, rather than a rigid and clinical conversation.

The counselling sessions with Fiona quickly became my safe space.  I looked forward to them each week because I knew I had someone who would listen and care.  Everything I wanted to discuss was important to Fiona and she wanted to hear and understand.  Each session was full of compassion and sensitivity.

Fiona taught me many practical tools for managing my anxiety.  It is difficult to put into words how great an impact the sessions with Fiona have had on my mental well-being, relationships with others, and the relationship with myself.
